Contribution Policy
The purpose of the blog is to create debate. Therefore it is open to all thoughts, positions and perspectives.
We try to avoid being overly party political. We try to be direct, open and keep it lively. This is a shared group blog. All who contribute own it and are empowered to use it, develop it, promote it and enjoy it.
There is no “party line” – however try to maintain a focus on asking / answering the fundamental questions of “what does our industry do in a post-consumption economy”. Apart from that all associated issues/questions are fair game. Contrasting views and different idea are encouraged.
There is no formal editorial policy apart from keeping content thoughtful and high quality. Each author is responsible for the comments on their own posts there is no central editing except in exceptional circumstances.
If you want to become a contributor to this site all you need is ideas and an ability to deliver high quality content. Get in touch if you are interested.
Affiliate linking policy
Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. We make every effort to ensure that every affiliate link is flagged clearly. For example the Amazon book links are generally affiliate links. As with all affiliate links if you click on the Amazon branded widgets and buy a book then the site will get a 1% commission on the sale.
Anything we recommend on the site is here because we have experienced it, read it, learnt from it, and think you should to. All revenues will initially be used to defray the basic running costs of the site.
These running costs are currently £39.99 per annum for hosting, £5 per year for our URL and we spent £110 on the Thesis theme. Any monies raised over and above these amounts will be donated to our charity of choice which is: If you have any concerns or questions about our affiliate policy then please feel free to contact us.
